West Maricopa County Regional Association of REALTORS® Announces 2010 Candidate Endorsements for Glendale, Peoria, El Mirage, and Wickenburg Maricopa County (August 4, 2010)- The West Maricopa County Regional Association of REALTORS® (WeMAR) has made its municipal council endorsements for the upcoming August elections in the City of Glendale, the City of Peoria, the City of El Mirage, and the Town of Wickenburg.
“This is a difficult time for government, residents and REALTORS®,” stated Roberta Davidson, Chairperson of the WeMAR Government Affairs & Public Policy Committee. “We look forward to continuing to strengthen our partnership with these West Valley municipalities and the elected leaders to serve as a resource during these difficult economic times.”
After a thorough review of questionnaire responses and personal interviews, WeMAR has endorsed the following candidates:

“As cities and towns continue to combat foreclosures and the budget crisis, it is essential to the committee and the Association that we support candidates that will advocate for our legislative priorities,” stated Roger Nelson, C.E.O. of WeMAR.
WeMAR is one of the largest local REALTOR® associations in Arizona, representing more than 6,000 members in 27 different communities. Most members are active real estate licensees from all areas of real estate, including residential, commercial, property management, land, appraisal, and relocation.
