Code of Ethics

The National Association of REALTORS® says you must TAKE IT! Code of Ethics is not just a required course for NAR membership; it sets REALTORS® above the standard.

Code of EthicsThe Code of Ethics

          • Heightens member awareness of the key tenets of the Code of Ethics
          • Creates an awareness of and appreciation for the role the Code can and should play in their professional lives
          • Enhance professionalism and competency
          • Encourages REALTORS® to view their Code of Ethics as a living, viable guide in their daily dealings with clients, customers and the public
As of January 1, 2001, the National Association of REALTORS® requires all REALTORS® to complete a 2 1/2 hour course on ethics every four consecutive years. Monday, December 31, 2012 brings the end of this four year cycle.
