WeMAR Code of Ethics Courses

The National Association of REALTORS® says you must TAKE IT! Code of Ethics is not just a required course for NAR membership; it sets REALTORS® above the standard.

The Code of Ethics

  • Heightens member awareness of the key tenets of the Code of Ethics
  • Creates an awareness of and appreciation for the role the Code can and should play in their professional lives
  • Enhance professionalism and competency
  • Encourages REALTORS® to view their Code of Ethics as a living, viable guide in their daily dealings with clients, customers and the public
As of January 1, 2001, the National Association of REALTORS® requires all REALTORS® to complete a 2 1/2 hour course on ethics every two consecutive years. Tuesday, December 31, 2018 brings the end of this two year cycle.

Please note: Cycle 4 (January 1, 2013 thru December 31, 2016) has come to an end. If you have not yet taken a Code of Ethics for cycle 4 please do so ASAP to avoid suspension.

New Members

All new WeMAR members are asked to complete Code of Ethics within their first 90-days of membership. Attend the New Member Orientation Code of Ethics course FREE of charge.

Are you transferring from another association and have completed Code of Ethics after January 1, 2017? Please submit a copy of your certificate when you join WeMAR.

Failure to fulfill this requirement will result in membership termination until the class is taken and reported to WeMAR. Access to MLS, zipForm® and other association benefits will also be inactivated.
