ADRE License Renewal Requirements

Real Estate licenses and renewals are issued for a two (2) year period. The Arizona Department of Real Estate mandates the completion of 24 hours of ADRE-approved continuing education courses every 24-months.

Continuing Education Requirements

Complete these 24 hours every two years
  • 3 hours Agency Law
  • 3 hours Commissioner's Standards
  • 3 hours Contract Law
  • 3 hours Disclosure
  • 3 hours Fair Housing
  • 3 hours Real Estate Legal Issues
  • 6 hours General*
*You may use any of the required categories for General CE credit without duplicating the same course number.

Proof of Legal Presence

The 2008 Arizona Legislature created Arizona Revised Statute 41-1080, which requires all state agencies that issue professional licenses to obtain proof of the licensees' legal presence in the state before issuing or renewing a license. This is a universal requirement of anyone holding a state-issued professional license.
