Buyers and sellers are seeking professionals who are well versed in the changing market, disclosure issues, financing, local housing statistics and so much more. They want to work with agents who have proficient negotiating skills and are prepared to help them fulfill the American dream. Gaining knowledge and industry awareness creates experts, provides value to every commission dollar, and reduces risks taken by real estate agents. Educated REALTORS® have the power to be the best in their field.

“Knowledge is Power”. Take advantage of the education opportunities WeMAR offers. Invest in yourself and your clients.

The WeMAR School of Real Estate is here to enhance your education experience by offering continuing education to keep your license current, designations to further your knowledge in specific areas and specialty classes to keep you up to date on current issues and regulations in the real estate industry.

Over the last 9 years, we have had over 37,000 agents come through our classroom doors, and have held 980 classes.  Our school brings in the best instructors in the state to help make our agents’ learning experience one they’d gladly repeat over and over.  Our students bring their expertise and their questions to each class which helps to make each session a unique learning experience.

We have affiliates who sponsor our classes by bringing breakfast, lunch or snacks to share as well as taking the opportunity to tell the attendees about their company. Often agents find themselves in a position where they need to fill a vacancy in the circle of business partners surrounding them. This gives them the chance to “interview” prospective partners without leaving their seats.

Our members are our number one priority and by WeMAR owning a highly respected real estate school gives them the opportunity to qualify to renew their license, elevate their expertise in the industry and raise the bar for real estate agents in the West Valley.

The goal of PDC is to provide the most relevant professional development opportunities that will have the biggest impact on members’ lives and careers so they may thrive in any market.

To satisfy this goal, the PDC is looks at the concept of professionalism through the lens of education at WeMAR. We want our members to immerse themselves in the concept of raising the bar of professionalism in the West Valley. We will do this while continuing to engage brokers and agents with classes and events aimed specifically at their needs, and by continuing to provide relevant classes and special events on subjects that are intended to train them in the many aspects of their busy careers.

As a WeMAR member, you're invited to join the committee and help in these efforts. learn more

Yesterday it was lead based paint, pool fences, mold, and C.L.U.E. Reports. Then came the market decline bringing REOs, short sales, and QRM, followed by CFPB and TRID with TILA and RESPA changes. Tomorrow will bring something new.

What is all this and what does it mean for real estate? We understand that you need to know what’s happening in the industry and be prepared to give your clients the best information and instruction to work toward the sale and/or purchase of their home.

These classes are geared toward explaining these issues and educating you on what to do next. Many of these classes offer continuing education. There is a minimal cost of $10-$15 per class. View the education calendar for upcoming classes.
